First, a question to all you people with credit cards: How the fuck did you get one. I fail to understand why I cannot get a “limited credit” card to build up a credit history when nobody will give me one because I ~have~ no credit history. What the fucking fuck ( Read more... )

When I got my first credit card my limit was 500 bucks and I got it because I turned 18 after holding an account with my back for ten plus years. My parents had to cosign for it. They also had to cosign for my 24,000 dollar line of credit.

If one of your parents has a credit card or something, ask if you can have an 'additional' card for one of their accounts. They pay a small fee and you get a card in your name that works off a small credit limit. You build credit that way, then get your own. <33

certain banks have kinds of overdraft protection that works as a credit line. you can get it and it'll build your credit score. my bank's just awesome though 'cause they automatically tranfer if I overdraft (nevarrh!!!)

Citibank came to my school offering cards to students, so that's how I got mine. After that the offers kept coming. My mom said she's read that credit card companies like giving cards to students because if they get themselves in debt they theoretically still have parents to fall back on for support, whereas once you're out of college you're on your own and there's no security. Something like that. :\

PS. I'm dying to see you pull off baldness without pulling a Britney. xPP

Well now I feel crappy as hell, I found out on Easter that I probably can’t go to the con because Sara (my ride) had decided not to go and that I still had nowhere to stay. And as much as I’d like to think it could come together and I’d still get to go, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. Sorry, I so want to be there and I promise my costume is going to rock very hard at Oakon.

Aawwwwzzzz! Well, as sad as I am that I won't get to see you, not much you can do if you don't have a means to get there. Regardless, I shall take lots of pics for you, and squee with EXCITEMENT for Otakon! ^___^
