Also, I proooobably won't be working at Otakon this year. More hanging out times etc. Budget permitting, that is. ($55 prereg until 7/11, so if I can afford to register by then...)

Oh god, I just don't know! Where has the whole year gone for that matter? Having a job has more or less resulted in my falling into little week-to-week in little "Oh, it's the weekend! Oh, it's not the weekend!" spurts. Time goes bizarrely fast as a result.

Yeah, AB is probably not the best short-notice con, particularly because of the bizarro hotel situation this year. On the other hand, you have Otakon, which isn't even a good ~long~ notice con, since all of the hotel rooms apparently enjoy being booked half a year in advance. Guh.

*bwaaaaaaa* don't tempt me Regan! I already need to make 5 costumes before Otakon! Granted, thats the next con we're attending, but still... no more costumes!

Though our library *randomly* had a copy of the first Girl Genius book, so I know some of the characters now....
I'll see what I can do. (and if you want to wear your new Katara, I'll definitely pull out TL again)

OOh, and have you heard about the new Pokemon Gijinka craze? Though you could probably create your own design just as good...

Oh, I've TOTALLY seen that crazy going around... someone I knew from college is going as one for AB, I think. Unfortunately I've never actually watched Pokemon so I think I'd be a pretty big failure at designing one, but that's still so nifty!

Girl Genius... how I love you! While it's always entertaining, it starts to get ~amazing~ around volume four or so. ^^ Plus they've put the whole thing online as a webcomic at www.girlgenius.com, so if you REALLY want to suck away your time, you can play along! >XP

From what I remember, mascot duties mostly center around whatever events are going on Sunday! Cosplay Chess was the really big one that took place in the morning, I think. We might want to ask Tuan what time you'd be needed at-con, and see if we can sneeeeak in some early-morning dim sum before then. ^^ Nom nom!
