SO. Car is bought. Yey! It's a 2003 Honda Civic, taken very good care of by its one and only owner. And it is the same goddamn burgundy as my high school car, Elspeth, aka The Kia, aka The Pig, aka loved/made fun of by all. God damn you, burgundy. God damn. New car needs a new name though, and as it is not blue, Blusealya is right out ( Read more... )

Hey, I liked my shiny plastic bus pass! It was shiny! And didn't cost thousands of dollars! *sob*

OMG I KNOW RITE? I FUCKING LOVE GADGET WITH ALL MY FACE. I distinctly remember being extremely miffed when I was seven or so, because I had to go to an eye doctor's appointment on the day when a Gadget-specific episode was supposed to air. I don't think I ever did end up seeing it (something about Gadget in badass camo gear??).

I remember recording Rescue Rangers radio dramas when I was four. I wish I knew where they were... they were probably really boring, but it is just so CUTE when little kids tell stories.

So, so... did you watch like, Tail Spin? Duck Tales?? Gummi Bears??? OH MAN, Disney in the 90s was good times indeed. Those Hannah Montana brats MISSED OUT!

OH HELLZ YAH. Tail Spin was totally on my to-do list, along with Tiny Toons, Salute your Shorts, Clarissa Explains It All, Swat Kats, Bucky O'Hare, and Darkwing Duck until this one episode creeped me the fuck out and I never watched it again. Duck Tales and Gummi Bears were definitely on my "I love youuu!" list too, although my sister and I didn't watch them quite so religiously as the others.

Seriously, what's up with Disney and Nick lately? They used to have the BEST STUFF ever, but now it just seems to be extremely dumbed-down live action shows about kids in high school, or gross-out joke cartoons. Nick occasionally strikes gold with things that appeal to an active fanbase, like Zim or Avatar, but they seem to not know what to do with that stuff anymore, and so they just slowly squeeze the life out of them. And Disney is just ridiculous at this point.

ZOMG RADIO DRAMAS? That... sounds so adorable. @_@

*tackles teh artses* That meme is so dead-on. Did you know that your mother used to ask me to take you shopping for pants that would actually fit you? Yup. I think it says something really deep about our friendship that I always politely turned her down with a "I appreciate your faith in my fashion sense, but I'm not dressing your daughter."

we have got to get that thing framed. All the cheesy frames are at department stores in the discount section. We should go on a Mission to the galleria and find something super classy at Sears. Then it can hang out in your braaand neeeew caaaaaaar~
OMG we can GO places in your CAR now, Regan. WE NEED TO GO GET BUTTONS, STAT.

OH MAN I totally found those a few months back and was like "shit, does Nella still want these?" The house has been cleaned a few times since then, so I'll need to look around and see where the heck they went off to.

PS Level 51, betch!! Scone's out of school now, and while I think Eve still has tutoring at various times, that leaves lots more availability for running Blackrock Depths.
