An opinion question for the Doctor Who-inclined people. I'd been planning on cosplaying oldschool-style Sarah Jane for Otakon, modeled off of the cute little suit skirt she wears in Robot. But now I'm wondering if I should instead do her darker pants suit.
Skirt suit, plus hat, plus pearls, plus gloves:

Although personally, I think you should wear the 70's-tastic outfit she wears in The Hand of Fear. So '70's it hurts!! Also Planet of Spiders is one of my favorite Sarah Jane episodes.

I'm going to have to draw a rubric for you, aren't I?
Lady, tomorrow, assuming I'm not dead from hauling shit to the House, I will be talking to you. About a myriad of things! THINGS! [fun things maybe?]

Also, one thing I thought of: did you buy a shitton of netting? I'm sure it wasn't in that pattern, but wedding dresses poof so because of all of the underlying stuffs.

I'm still tentatively thinking about doing a Pompeiian preistess from the most recent season, so I can at least hang with the Dr Who crowd for a bit.

Maybe Pix or Dame Aedith?
Pix is a blond, sweetly manipulative cutie, and Aedith is a witch with an interesting personality.

As far as the list of who's who goes, the taken folks are Agatha, Gil, Oggie the Jagermonster, and Moxana. Aside from Carrie's suggestions, here's all of the non-ridiculous girl costumes that I can think of:
Tinka (Moxana's "sister")
Jenka the Jagermonster
The Countess
Pix
Bangladesh DuPree
Anevka (she has two other very different costumes as well)

The A-Chan coat took, oh, well over 40 hours. I'd drop Greg at the train station, then come home and measure/cut/sew until it was time to pick him up! I was REALLY anal about everything being perfect. Of course, that was for a jacket that I can still wear around (and considering the rainstorms last week, I was glad to have it!).
