Hahahaha, would it seriously be the fourth year? That would be so funny if I ran into you guys again. I'm not too familiar with Girl Genius, but we'll see how things go. Hope to see you this weekend! :)

I knoooow! I almost couldn't believe it myself, but I went back and looked through all my old Otakon photos and sure enough, there you are in 2005. >XP

Girl Genius is a fun steampunk webcomic... I don't really know how to describe the costumes too well, but I'll be wearing a coat with big stupid blue lapels, and Scone will be in a green dress with long, blond hair. OH. And Nella (if you remember her from the forums) will have long, green hair. ^^

For the lapels, I was thinking you could maybe put stabilizer or something to stiffen the light blue details so it would hold its shape better... maybe. (was going to say that earlier, but there were AIM problems.) Ping me later? I'll be around online-ish until 3pm Wednesday.

Yeah, I'm going to do some major overhaul with those things.... but I decided to put it off and work on everything else, so it's been really nice to actually GET THINGS FINISHED rather than just work on the same fucking piece for hours and hours and hours. I have the feeling I'm going to just crash at work tomorrow though. @_@

At least, when I'm not exhausted, I'm really excited.

Trying not to think about the amount of sewing/construction work I need to get finished. Moxana's earring/dangly things are NOT cooperating.

And now I actually know the name of the hotel. That would be a good thing. I expect to get to Baltimore by 8 (earlier if I can leave work early!) on Thursday, drop luggage off, register, and then we can go for food!

And then I'll have to head home for work on Friday. Boo.

Boooooo hiss work!! I'm asking around, but would ~you~ on the off chance be bringing your lappy to the con for a Thurs or Fri viewing of As You Like It? I just need to figure it out by today, so I know if I should take mine from work.

I dun got a laptop! Maybe I could steal Greg's . . . and then we could spend the entire weekend trying to figure out the passwords, because he won't even tell them to ME!

I can't get the danglies to dangle right. I was using wire to string everything, thinking it would hold a shape better, but they look like poo. Just one more thing that I will figure out tonight. I'm gonna get so much done tonight! Greg has his Dungeons&Dragons group, so he won't be home to nag me about dinner or bedtimes.

Eeehhhh, I'll just take mine. ^^ I wouldn't want to leave Greg computerless for a whole weekend (OH NO!!!). Unless he has an extra or something crazy like that, that'd be simple to bring down.

Hmmmm. Is the wire doing that kinky, crinkly thing? I have an idea actually - depending on the color of gold it is, Sarah just bought this whole damn roll of gold piping - kind of like tiny plastic macramé stuff. Do you think that'd be too thick/fat to use?

So...tired...of sewing! I can't believe I'm going to have 3 new costumes for this thing (well, one's for T-kun, but I still have to make it).... Anyway, Tinka's vest is almost done, skirt is done. Shirt and wig are still outstanding. (and I can't find any fr(*&& white/silver tights!!!)

Anyway, what time is the GG stuff happening on Sat? I know it's going to take me a long time to do makeup, wig etc, so I figured I'd change in your room. And I was going to try to get saber_rider to do a photoshoot with us, but I'd like to give him a heads up for a time period.

agh I'm so not ready!!

I think time-wise is wheneeeever we want! You and Carrie are the ones wearing the crazymad awesome, elaborate costumes, so for photoshoots I think we'll be working around whatever's best for you. I think we might want to aim to do it earlier in the day as opposed to the afternoon, in case you guys get tired of all the heavy makeup. What do you think?

Hey just a heads up I'm going to have my sewing machine and kit with me. ^_^ It will be in my car as I don't need it ( am unable to sew even one more thing) but if anyone does need it I'll be able to get it for you.
