Guardian.co.uk: Douglas Adams's increasingly inaccurately named Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy is to be extended to six titles, after Adams's widow Jane Belson sanctioned a project which will see children's author Eoin Colfer taking up the story.

Yeah, I saw that too - weird! Especially since he hasn't really struck me as said diva type. *shrug* Maybe they role they had her in was really stupid? Dunno....

lolz, some guildies actually got into a heated debate about that. One of the lore geeks kept yelling (he always yells) about how, like, two years ago Blizzard announced that Alliance will never get kodos wah wah wah, Alliance on kodos is totally against lore wah wah waaaahhh. Honestly, I am just happy about driving crazy shit in bgs in the expansion. Battling rams and siege towers here I come!! Although I may try for the Brewfest this year on my pally, think I have some tickets left from last year!

So we get Eoin Colfer's fanfiction version of the Hitchhiker characters...it's like sci-fi/fantasy converging into one spot. Gotta watch those plural universes popping back up again, lol. I actually like both authors, but I haven't seen Eoin write "off the wall funny" yet, hmmm.

just, fyi, the officially sanctioned sequels to peter pan are very good. So it might be that these arent so awful, as long as you read them with the understanding that it is another person's vision and idea. Kind of like when you see a play that you know very closely being put on by a totally different company, *cough cough*.

I am staying away from all David Tennant and Doctor Who news because I'm still in Donna Denial.

I'm telling you - Romana came back from E-Space and was all "What is this bullshit?" before removing the mental block from Donna. And then they both went off to have Sexy Timelady Adventures, with the Rani as their arch nemesis (oh, you know she survived) and special guest appearances by Jenny, the timetot space cadet who goes shopping and man-watching with Donna on exotic planets.

This is canon, for srs.
