I'm still alive.

Things are still slowly getting better for us. I wish it would pick up the pace, though.

Expect to see more frequent posts from me, now. I'm needing an outlet and the good ol' LJ seems to be the best place.

So according to our lawyer, the lawsuit will be settled this week. I don't know if that means we'll also be receiving money this week, or next week, or this year. Hopefully the first, if not the second. I'm ready to get on with our lives. So, we are finally moved into the new place. My new employer did in fact cover all of our deposits, although since I had to contact both a water association and an electric company AFTER we paid deposits on the rental house they had to guestimate on those, and it didn't quite cover everything, but still ( Read more... )
