I really don't know what to say. I feel so sorry for you, but maybe you do not want it. But whatever we get to know about you, you know that we still respect you. Or at least I do, and I believe the others do too.

Skin cancer runs in my family. Melanoma that is. I feel for you although I have not suffered with it yet. I cannot tolerate the summer's heat in VA so while I'll wear tank tops and shorts in the heat, I also slather on tons of the highest SPF sunblock I can find, almost year round. Thank you for sharing your story with us, as now we can understand you more.

That sucks. :( What's the name of this particular condition, if I may ask?

I can not apologize or feel sorry for your condition because it is something you must come to terms with. As harsh as that sounds. Everyone has a specific hand delt to them probably for no reason at all, it is the adaptablility we must succomb to unfortunately. I see my luck in this situation in your case, but I also see my own flaws, I have scoliosis and a very poor circulatory and digestive systems. I had many surgeries after my birth to correct what was capable of being corrected. I still suffer from my flaws in the fact that I cant hold a job if I have to stand, and I cant eat certain foods.

It is these flaws handed to us that actually should make us stronger not weaker. Though our physical bodies deteriorate before us, other aspects of ourselves must continue to strive for perfection.
Good luck in all your endevors my friend, don't let skin condition hold you back from anything you desire to do.
