I don't think they hate you. i think that the people who commented on your entry were mostly bored people with very little of a life.

Here's the deal...who *cares* what "they" think? If you want to write in your journal about how the moon is made of green cheese, go for it. If other people get stupid and act like assholes, ignore them. Don't take what they say to heart, because it really doesn't matter in your day to day life.

People like to make fun of others for their enjoyment. Its sad really and that's how I found your journal as well, through another link. Don't take it so hard...your stuff is still fun to read. :)

it is always worth it. the people who have had the greatest influences in the world have often times been the ones that had a differing opinion from most, were persecuted for their thoughts, but triumphed over it all...

the truth is most people who feel compelled to comment negatively about others have more faults than those they pick on. i have yet to see a fault in you other than the fact that you are too kind :) and people will try to walk all over you.

greycat is right though. none of what the say should matter. what does matter is that you have friends who are a positive force in your life, and those are the people's opinions that should really matter to you, the words of those who care.

you are a good man, robert chavis, and i am very glad that i have had the pleasure of knowing you. you have a kind heart and an open mind and if others cannot appreciate that, then their thoughts and words are not worth your time. it is always worth it.

It's all about expression, pal. If you want to talk ad nauseaum about sex positions that everyone knows about as being inventions of your own "inner darkness," that's fine; that's expression. On the other hand, if someone wants to come along, call you a fool for writing it (or a hypocrite for going on and on about being a gentleman, then writing about how badly you need pussy), that's their right, too. It's all expression, man. Live with it or change the settings on your account so that only the guys on your Friends list can reply to what you write. Just remember that you're the one who put your own thoughts on-line for all to read. It's up to each person who reads it afterward to decide what they'll do with it after that, be it praise, scorn, or simply ignoring it and reading someone else's journal ( ... )
