Water
Bela pulled back slowly and looked up. Farin's eyes were still closed, droplets of water running down his face. He leaned in and slid his tongue along his jaw, tasting salty skin. Farin moaned and put a hand on the back of the drummer's head.
"How did you find this little piece of heaven?"
Farin's eyelids fluttered open and he smiled. "That's a secret." He loved travelling alone, but some places where just meant to be shared. He bowed his head and kissed Bela again, enjoying the feeling of warm water around them and the silence of the deserted beach.
Fire
"That must've hurt," Farin said, looking at the tattoo surrounding Bela's right nipple.
"Only a little bit," the drummer replied. He was never going to admit he had had to grind his teeth together the whole time to avoid crying out loud like a girl.
"Can I touch it?"
"Yeah, it should be healed by now."
Farin slowly traced the red outline with his index finger and leaned forward, touching his lips lightly to the tip of the flame, then moving down to his nipple. Bela smiled. Having Farin kiss him better was worth all the pain in the world.
Earth
The ground was soft under his boots as he got out of the car. He wondered why Farin had decided to live there. A little voice inside him told him Farin probably just wanted to get away from Berlin, where every street and shop and tree reminded him of his past. Their past. Bela tried to forget by doing drugs and drinking himself into a stupor, Farin had chosen a... healthier way.
He took a deep breath, the earthy smell of the forest soothing him, and walked towards the gate, Farin's letter folded neatly in his pocket. Time to talk.
Air
There was something in the air that night. Something in the way Dirk looked at him, sitting on the pavement much closer that he usually did, fidgeting slightly. Jan wondered if maybe... But he didn't want to get his hopes high. And the band was much more important than his silly crush on Dirk, anyway.
When the bus finally arrived, empty as usual, they stood up.
"Thank you for always waiting here with me, I'd die of boredom without you."
A small, crooked smile. "Anything for you." He stood on his tiptoes and kissed him on the lips. "Goodnight, Jan."
