Hello, all. It's been quiet here of late. In a couple of weeks I am going to London for the first time in a decade; I'm long overdue for a visit. I would be delighted and grateful if any locals would be willing to recommend good club nights, places to go, recommended goth-friendly cafes/ea shops/restaurants, or must-sees in the area.

I arrive at the morning of the 20th, and fly back out the afternoon of the 25th. (I suspect I should have booked another couple of days.) If you're free any of those days, I would love to meet up. :) I'm also supposed to day-trip up to York at some point to meet up with velvetdahlia.

Shame you'll miss Reptile, but I'm sure you'll like Tenebrae if you fancy it. That could be a good day to meet up anyway (and I'm only in town from the Friday evening to Sunday anyway...). I'm sure I can think of something suitable gothy to do!

ahh! So it was you :) I was wondering why spangle_kitten thought we may know each other and when I left I had a strange inkling you looked familiar but couldn't place it (I'm terrible with faces, let alone icons)! I'm hardly ever on here anymore. Hope the trip went well?

It was indeed, and that does clear things up on my end as well. (What?! People are hard to recognise from 100-pixel icons? Preposterous! ;)

It was smashing! I got back to NYC this evening, and I'm already plotting my next London foray.

well let me know when you're next back and if I'm around I'll try make the effort to say hi properly :) I don't really use this journal any more - but am often on frozen_amaranth. Hmm wonder if they'll let me swap my membership to that LJ so I can at least get the updates on my freinds page...
