Maybe this question has been asked before, but I'm just kind of curious.

People seem to come to this place from all kinds of worlds. Are there any people here who actually prefer this place to home? If you had the opportunity to go back by choice.. would you?

getting over it, questions, being thoughtful, introspective goth

I like the people I've met here. But I'd go home in a heartbeat.

Given recent arrivals to Somarium, I admit, I'm not certain whether I would go back home if given the chance. I do have a job to do back home, however... well, it's been hundreds of years since composers like Mozart and Salieri have been around back home.

Mozart and Salieri are here?

[FFFF Somarium you just keep getting weirder.]

Yes, they are. As are Nannerl Mozart and Chopin. Beethoven was here a while back, but he unfortunately returned home.

I wonder if they're just from the past or some.. weird alternative dimension past.

I miss people back home but there are people here I can't abandon.

[Honestly, this was a difficult question for him to answer. He's not certain if he ever wants to return home some days.]

That seems like a pretty general consensus. I guess this place becomes home for some people after a while. Are they people you don't have in your own world?

Something like that... I guess it's selfish but I wish I could take "here" and bring it "home" sometimes.

That's not selfish. It makes sense to want to combine the best of both worlds, I guess.

I must say, this is a rather personal question. Why do you ask?

Curiosity. I'm not trying to pry into anyone's personal business.

That's an acceptable reason, I suppose. Very well. I prefer to be back in my world. There are things I have to finish.

Things that you can't finish here, I guess?

Is it the people? The atmosphere?

You don't have to answer. I'm just curious to know what might draw people to want to stay here.

What's the situation back home?

And I need to work on introducing myself. I'm Sam.
