I was having a crappy day -- and then I saw the moon rise, weighty and golden. Massive and thick orange. I stopped and stood there in the Costco parking lot, mouth agape.

Suddenly everything was better.

Sometimes when i'm having a bad day, i picture in my mind the pink sky at Pena Adobe and those skeleton trees....
