OK WARNING! I've had a bad week so this is what I've come up with-a scary story. Shades of the 'Night' chapter here-reference to past abuse and nightmares. Skip if you want.

This one's for sienata coz I miss her and BFF. xox

Ennis was going to Chicago. It had to happen sooner or later. ( Read more... )

OMG, that was scary! But a CR one-shot is always welcome, whatever its mood. Thank you!

BTW, Jack's nightmare made me wonder: I do not think you ever mentioned what happened to his father after he had gone to prison. Do you perhaps intend to pursue his line in any way? I remember reading somewhere that the US Department of Corrections has an on-line tracking system of prisoners currently in custody. It also gives the projected discharge date--well, I am not sure Jack needs to know that, but perhaps Ennis ought to check it out, just in case. Just a thought :)

WOW! That was scary!!

Thank God, it was just a dream. And Ennis was so good to him!

It was good to see the boys.

OMG, I really thought Jack's father had found him. Gratefully, it was a nightmare and hopefully that hateful, sick excuse for a man is dead. Always look forward to more of your drabbles.

Thank goodness it was just a nightmare. I would hate to think of Jack being alone in the house with his father. I'm really glad that Ennis is ther for him. It's comforting to know that Ennis will always be by his side.
Thank you for this piece of Crystal River fic. I loved it as much as I have loved the rest of your wonderful stories. I hope to see more. : )

Love to see another one-shot of this story. Really loved your take on J&E. Thank goodness that was just a nightmare for Jack and Ennis was there to take care of him when he woke up from it. This line "I will never, EVER, ever leave you Jack" just speaks of the bond betw J&E. Thanks for sharing this with us.
