Because we can't have a psychotic Holiday without a psychotic Six. XD 4 + 5sixthdeadliestJune 28 2011, 23:15:00 UTC
[He sets her down on the bed of the hotel room, his touch gentle as he brushes a lock of hair out of her face. Such a small thing. Anyone would blow it off as nothing, but to him it conveys everything his face doesn't show.]
[He scowls to himself at the gesture. She doesn't deserve it. He'd been her toy, making him feel emotions he'd buried. Yet she'd grown bored with him the second Caesar showed up. Caesar whom they knew next to nothing about aside from what DNA could show them. Caesar who was most likely more than slightly crazy. Caesar who'd programmed ZAG-RS and possibly caused the Event.]
[He silently walks back to the door, locking it and then placing a chair in front of it, sitting down to watch her.]
[Nobody plays with him and gets away with it. Nobody. Not even her.]
Oh God. You reminded me how much I hate Ceasar XDdoc_holiJune 29 2011, 00:11:28 UTC
[Holiday's mind slowly tried to swim to conciousness through what seemed like black sludge.]
[Something had happened. Something... Something bad? Was it something good? Either way, it was something and it needed her attention... She thought. She really wasn't entirely sure.]
[Still, she muddled through the darkness, forcing her eyes to crack open and her head to turn a little. Everything sort of... blurred together, but she could still make out a figure... A green figure.]
[Her eyes blinked a few times, trying to push through the fog.]
Six?
[Six? Six. Why was-...]
What's going on?
[She rubbed her aching head with her aching arm. Something must have happened if they were in this situation. Unfortunately for her, she did trust Six, even if his tone sounded oddly... strained.]
[Something must have happened... She just couldn't remember what.]
[Yes. She figured that, but- He sounded very, very angry. Six never sounded like that.]
[She leaned over on her side, trying to sit up and failing.]
What hap-
[Holiday stopped moving. That's right. She remembered. Six did bring her here. There was a large gap, but she could remember enough to know that she was the one he was pissed at... For what? She wasn't entirely sure, but she had a guess.]
[A smirk pulled across his lips as she cut herself off mid-sentence. Ah, she must be catching on.]
You enjoy games, don't you, Doctor?
[The question is innocent enough but the tone it's spoken in definitely isn't. Oh, she enjoyed games, all right. After all, she'd made a game of him, hadn't she?]
[He was freaking her out and he was doing it on purpose.]
[Something was seriously wrong with him. Did he go EVO or-... No. She knew he hadn't.]
[That smirk... It was completely unnerving, especially coming from him. All of it was. Especially that part about his... directions.]
Chase... me?
[She was trying to lean up again. Never before had she been scared of him. In fact, he was the embodiment of protetion in her mind. But, right now, that feeling wasn't there.]
[Holiday was really hoping that drug wore off a little faster than he figured.]
[He moved the chair away from the door and unlocked it.]
You wanted me to pursue you once upon a time. Until Salazar showed up. [His face darkened, the smirk wiped from his face. He wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of knowing that--in his own little way--he'd tried to pursue her on her terms.]
I'm giving you a thirty-minute head start. It should give you plenty of time even with any lingering side effects.
Oh God, Cy XD WHHHHHYYYYYYYdoc_holiJune 29 2011, 03:29:19 UTC
[Her eyes widened at... well, everything he had said. A head start? She was supposed to run from him, because of-...]
[Breathing a little shaky, she sat up in the bed with a little effort, eyes trying to plead an answer out of him.]
... Six...
[What's gotten into you? What are you doing? You're not really going to- That look on his face, though-]
Why?
((ooc: Oh good lord. LJ kept messing with me and it ended up posting a ton of times. Something about Frank chewing on the wires... Who the hell is Frank and why does he like wires? @.@ Anyway, the point, sorry and excuse the mess.))
[Holiday shrank back for a second. He was serious. He was very serious.]
[She had to do something..., but running from him? If anything, it could give her more time to think, to try to get through to him,... to try to find help. She highly doubted that last one.]
[She pulled herself out of the bed, walking towards the door with some effort, keeping her eyes on him the entire time. Yes, she was now shaking a little, but she willed herself to stop, still trying to mentally plead with him.]
[True to his word, he didn't move to stop her. Nor did he even watch her leave. The chase would be more interesting if he had no clear idea of where she'd gone.]
[Not that she could get far, of course. Even if she did find a way to escape, she was literally in the middle of nowhere with no indication of where the nearest town was.]
[He checked his watch. Three minutes gone. Twenty-seven left.]

Good evening, Doctor.
[He was practically choking on the bitter tone that threatened to escape his already precarious control.]

[She tried pulling herself up to sit, realizing how weak her arms were and almost falling back on to the bed.]
[Her words came out as labored breaths.] ... Six? What are you-... Where are we?

A little motel about five hours away from Providence. Just off the old highway.
[He stood up, hands in his pockets. That smirk never leaves his face.]
The drug should only last another fifteen minutes. You wanted me to chase you, didn't you? Think of this as getting what you wanted on my terms.

Give yourself some time, Doctor. You're a smart woman. You'll figure it out.
In the meantime, twenty-nine minutes. I suggest you not waste any more time.
((OOC: Frank is LJ's goat mascot. They use the "chewing on wires" thing as their error page just to go with the whole mascot thing.))
