[Second in command. Untouchable ninja. Stoic. Male.]

[Everything about him made him "better qualified" for... EVERYTHING. While she did what? Nothing! That's all. Nothing! No one took her seriously, because of him!]

["Oh, well, he found the cure, Doctor." Oh, please! If it weren't for her, his limited, green warehouse of a brain would have never considered the idea. Sure, he found Rex and... he saved Rex and... SHE COULD'VE DONE ALL THAT. HE JUST NEVER GAVE HER THE CHANCE.]

[But it didn't matter. None of it mattered. Nope. Never did. So, what was one to do? The only logical answer was to take the corrupt factor out of the equation. He just needed to be subtracted out, was all.]

[Which is why he was currently waking up in the single most adandoned and locked down school one could possibly find. Even he won't get out of this one. He needed to learn a few lessons, anyway.]

[Nothing personal. Of course.]

[He gave a small groan as he came to, head swimming. What...what'd happened? Had there been an attack? The last thing he remembered was Holiday's lab.]

[He mentally cursed himself for dropping his guard so much around Providence. He'd felt safe there, subconsciously relaxing little by little. He should've been more alert, and now he was most likely going to pay for it. Especially since he couldn't help but notice his katanas were missing.]

[He pushed himself onto his knees and struggled to his feet, the drugs in his system throwing him off-balance. He looked around, trying to figure out where he'd been taken to and trying to find who had taken him.]

[His voice slurred a bit as he spoke.] Who are you? What do you want?

[Holiday smiled to herself. This was working so perfectly. He was completely lost. For the moment, she couldn't ask more.]

[There was no way he was going to figure a way out of her little hole. He would stay lost or die trying to get her... or, if else failed, she could just work him over with the steel pipe she found. Either way, this was going to end and she could already taste it.]

[Chuckling to herself, she started walking from the room he was in and down the hallway, heels clicking behind her. She took the next turn, curious what his next move would be. Didn't matter. He wasn't going to live through this, anyway.]

[He heard the clicking of heels coming from somewhere close by. There was someone here. Logically, it was most likely his captor. He stumbled back when he tried to follow the sound, falling against the wall of lockers. He winced slightly at the impact, particularly the loud bang the action produced.]

Need to get this stuff out of my system.

[Moving would help. He took a few deep breaths and kept one hand on the lockers as he resumed his attempts to follow the footsteps. Whoever this was might lead him to a way out.]

[His own footsteps were quiet but not nearly as quiet as normal. Once or twice, his shoes had squeaked against the floor when he stumbled.]

[She smiled again. He was trying to move and failing at it. She could even hear a few of his footsteps.]

[He was lost and disoriented. This was way too good.]

[Now look who's at the bottom.]

[She dragged the pipe she was holding against the wall as she walked, making the metallic echo scream through the halls. That should help his headache. She's a doctor. She would know.]

[He winced, bringing a hand to his head at the screech. He gave a soft moan at the pounding.]

[His voice is a harsh whisper.] Focus...Get out of here. Then you can deal with the headache.

[He had to run into the end of this hallway at some point, right? It might even lead to a way out.]

[Holiday continued walking, making sure to hit the pipe against every locker she happened to come by.]

[She laughed softly, glancing behind her, just waiting for him to come to her. No doubt, that would take him awhile. Probably take him even longer to figure out what was even going on.]

[She started humming, loud enough to where he could probably hear the echos. Eventually, she came to the room she had been looking for. An old broom closet. Opening the door, she kicked over a small bucket filled with water. The water washed along the walls and wires connected to the fuse box.]

[She closed the door again, starting over on her earlier task while all the lights and power cut out with only a few sparks falling from the ceiling.]

[Eventually, he would find her, but until then she planned to keep him as closed off as possible.]

[He hesitated as the world was plunged into darkness. It took him a few seconds for his eyes to adjust.]

[His captor clearly wanted to keep him off-balance. And right now that person was succeeding.]

[Perhaps he could take a page from Rex's book and see if he couldn't do the same to them. He took a deep breath and spoke carefully to minimize the drug-induced slurring.] If you're trying to scare me, it won't work. I'm not afraid of the dark.

[He paused, listening. Whoever was out there must've been watching him and could probably hear him. If he got them angry enough, they might give something away.]

[Oh, she heard him and she couldn't help the laugh escape her.]

[No. Of course he wasn't scared. Was he scared of anything? Did he care about anything? Did he really deserve ANYTHING?]

[Again, no. But she did. She deserved it, but she just never could get ahead.]

[And that's why this was happening now. He wasn't scared of the dark, so she had to get rid of him. It all made sense, really.]

[In case he hadn't heard her laugh, she smacked the hell out of the nearest locker. That's a decent response.]

[Thanks to his careful listening, he heard the laugh. Definitely female. Also familiar but right now his brain wasn't working fast enough to make the connection.]

[He leaned heavily against the lockers as his ears--focused on picking up the tiniest noises--was assaulted by the loud clang! of a locker being struck. He put his hands over his ringing ears.]

[Strange place with feminine laughter. Breach? Possibly, but would she have drugged him?]

[He straightened back up and continued stumbling down the hallway, head throbbing even as the constant threat of blacking out hovered near.]

[Holiday felt a little proud that time. No response? Really? Well, maybe he was realizing who the alpha finally was. She doubted it, because he was just thick like that, but plausible.]

[She put the pipe against the wall again, walking down one of the hallways, humming to herself again.]

[The entire map of the building was layed out in her mind. Even the map of the campus, which had a brand new elictric fence, courtesy of the good doctor. Even if he managed to escape the building, he wasn't escaping her.]

[He managed to stumble his way to the end of the hallway, seeing it go off two different directions. Right or left? Which way led to an exit.]

[He took a few deep breaths, listening intently for any sound his captor might make. He gave his head a vicious shake as his vision blurred. No. Not here. Not now.]

Come on, Six. Get it together. You've been through worse.

[Of course, none of it was coming to mind right now. This was on a whole different level from the usual rampaging EVOs. This person or EVO or whatever she was was currently stalking him. And at such a severe disadvantage, he couldn't be sure he could handle a direct confrontation.]

[Without thought, he put his hand to his ear, momentarily forgetting that his communicator wasn't there. He called for the first person he could think of.]

Holiday.

[Then he paused and shook his head violently. Of course his communicator wasn't there. He knew that. Cursing the drugs again, he started heading left.]

[She doubted that the cheshire grin was ever going to go away now.]

[Holiday stopped walking finally at the end of the hallway. In front of her was one of the few doors in the building leading outside. Of course, she was able to modify the door so it wouldn't open. By modify, there were a few boards of wood nailed to it and the wall. Not to mention the crowbar that sat through the handles on the other side.]

[Nope, he wasn't getting out this way. Not any way. Though, he may be drugged, but he was still Six. Taking him lightly would be the wrong thing to do. She still had a few tricks, though.]

[She turned, back to the door, hearing a whisper of her name. Holiday stood there, waiting.]

[There was a figure at the end of the hall. He approached it warily. When he got close enough, he relaxed a hair. At least he wasn't completely alone here.]

Holiday, are you all--

[He stopped mid-sentence as his brain connected the dots and finally recognized the voice from earlier. He backed up a step to maintain his distance.]

I was in your office before I blacked out.

[Holiday put the end of the pipe on the floor, it being long enough for her to lean on it.]

Yeah. Yeah, you were.

[Was it bad that she was enjoying this?]

I'm honestly surprised you blacked out. You can do it all, can't you?
