Found one of my towels on the kitchen table. Not remembering having put it there, I picked it up and underneath was hidden my Animated Bumblebee. In pieces. His arms were off and one of his back leg panels had come off too. Fortunately, it was an easy fix for all parts, but it didn't take much of a stretch as to who the curly-haired 4 year old ( Read more... )

They do make TF toys for younger children. My 3 y/o loves playing with these pop down versions I got at WalMart. They have two or three different kinds for different age groups. You should be able to find them at WalMart, Target or almost any toy store.

EDIT: Forgot to mention they don't really make any noise. The "top" part, which is the character portion snaps down into the base and moves the car forward and pops the top part back up again. I hope that makes sense.

Those would be the Bumpers.

I'm worried that she'd not enjoy that they're not like mine.

And of course they make noise.

Stupid LJ wouldn't let me put all this in one post. My youngest loves sitting on the kitchen floor and racing them. They are all from the 2007 movie, although they do have Cliffjumper (which didn't make a whole lot of sense to me but I will take what I can get).
