I like that. Then again, I like everything you write. However, I'm your friend, so I'm a little biased.

By the way, I'm pretty much the product of a broken home (if you only knew...) and look at me.

broken homes are all-to-common in america. i don't think that works as an excuse for violence, though. i do like this piece a lot. though i must say that perhaps the only thing kindness cannot stop is blind hatred...you have to prevent the hatred from growing in the first place...and that is the hard part.
