Okay, so this is the ridiculous idea I was talking about (thanks for the support! =D ), took me over an hour to do, in fact make that two with making the post, but… well I’ll explain after.
slybrunette ? I blame this on you. totally ;)
Might as well face it, Sawyer/Jack, 179 words, PG-13.
With more control, you’d ignore it
But it just won’t fade away
He walks by, you want to go
But you resist a little more
He’s right there, taunting you
With good looks and bright ink
The need is strong, day or night
To try your luck immediately
Still, you never thought that it could happen to you, not here
In the middle of madness on this craphole island
You got to be a man and step up, yes you really want this
It is insane, you’re worlds apart
And nothing can make this work
But still, you two make sparks
One little touch ignites the flames, the burning flames
You want to fight
Hurt him real bad and get away
He pulls you back into his arms
And you just can’t break his heart
Still, you never thought that it could happen to you, not here
In the middle of madness on this craphole island
You got to be a man and step up, yes you really want this
Might as well face it, you're addicted to love

Now.. got it? no I didn't write a poem. That was.. that was in fact me channelling Weird Al Yankovic. *facepalms*
It’s my gift to
slybrunette, Queen a while ago at
lostsquee, who wanted something inspired by a song, and for the last 2 weeks for EVERY song I’d hear on the radio or listen to in my iPod, I’d wonder if that was it, what I could do with it. But no. And I searched for inspiration, and searched again. ZZ Top. Leona Lewis. Even PATD. Nothing. Until I heard “Addicted to Love” by Robert Palmer last night and just LOL because Sawyer pining for Jack jumped at me and didn’t let go.
I didn’t have the song here at work (duh, just thought I had my iPod, got to check if I have it at all). To see if the text matched, I heard
this little electronic version one too many times, sweethearts, believe me. Go sing along too if you want ;)
