Sawyer had been sure he'd never go in a Zoo again for the rest of his life.
[Figured, right?]
But then again...
He paid his ticket at 2 o'clock sharp each afternoon [he really should get a pass], and strolled directly to the pit holding the monkeys.
He just stayed there for maybe an hour, leaning on the cement ledge and looking down at them as they bounced, picked flees, fought, loved, [lived].
An older monkey was trying to police two of the young ones that were fighting [again, already] for a peanut.
He smirked. [C'mon Jack, get it boy!]
