That a man, also a Servant that goes by the title of Caster, named Gilles de Rais has made his appearance in Mayfield and happens to be a murderer. Not exactly the sort that I would want to have a student going up against so early just yet.

You and I are fine as we have Servants to deal with that sort of mess, however, even in a town like this, Servants are still people to not be taken lightly with. According to Saber, the man targets children-- however, even if it's just a child's life he goes after, the fact remains that human life means nothing to him. Much less decide to change his target from young children to young teenagers... my student in this case.

I want to have her get to know you and Saber and start to training her on how to defend herself and retreat for now. Any objections?

As a magus in general, she is an amateur that is still learning the basics. She does, however, have an interesting ability to transform into a 'magical gunner' type and is able to use her magical power as her ammunition... or at least that is the impression I have been given.

I was planning on teaching her more gun work the later I progress with her-- however I'm focusing on her non-transformed state for now.

[Sakuya smiles out the window as she sees that method of clearing snow. She notes that she'll have to try it with danmaku sometime.

A few moments later, she's out in the driveway, two cups of hot cocoa in hand.]

Thank you for that. Cocoa?

[Once she speaks is when he breaks the spell and turns over to her. He reaches out to take one of the offered cups and then nods.]

Mm. That would be nice, thank you.

[And... there is a brief pause though with him looking at her for a good moment.]

[And she smiles a little, then takes a sip, then looks up.]

Is everything all right?

... I'm still upset at you, you know. [In that, he's referring about the whole sacrificing part when Mayfield was also known as nukefield filled with raiders.]

I was not told what you were doing or knew what had happened until soon after. And the worst part was knowing there wasn't anything I could do about it.

[Well, Silence wasn't exactly able to respond over the phone - for rather obvious reasons - so ever since Blue's phone call, he's been trying to track down the mage in person. It just happens to take him a little while to do so.

Too bad it happens to be on a particularly snowy day, when Silence wishes he could have done anything other than venturing otherwise. No one with giant butterfly wings on their back is particularly at home in cold weather. He has said wings buried beneath a large, heavy coat - they are, in fact, practically the only parts of his body that can be adversely affected by temperature, given that he's a mystic - and looks rather miserable.

Still, business takes precedence. He'll wait for a lull between Blue's spells before walking up and tapping him on the shoulder.]

[You would think under any normal conditions and situation, the magician wouldn't even bother with such a ridiculous request out of anybody out of pride and common sense that it is too cold to do anything. But alas, he if he was able to climb up a cold, snowy mountain to find a flower for a card with the physicality of the stereotypical weak and squishy mage uphill, then everyone else can learn how to deal with walking on an even and low elevated ground in this weather condition... frickin' whiners.

Of course, that tap on the shoulder was enough to break his concentration from his next spell to glance over to the familiar face.]

You are... oh, right. The silent I.R.P.O. agent. Nusakan's 'friend', I'm assuming as well?

[Silence's eyebrows arch upwards slightly at the quotation marks he imagines he hears around 'friend', but he replies with a slight nod of affirmation all the same. He's not sure if the magician - Blue, wasn't it? - had even noticed Nusakan's being long gone from Mayfield, although he supposes it's largely irrelevant.

He scribbles briefly in his notebook.] HEARD YOUR CALL. THOUGHT PERHAPS TEACHING SOMEONE FROM SAME WORLD WHO USES SAME MAGIC MIGHT BE POSSIBLE? CANNOT LEARN ARCANE OR REALM, ALREADY HAVE EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF LIGHT, BUT UNFAMILIAR WITH TIME.
