The Gospel Jubilee! OMG: this makes me remember sitting on black leather furniture at Uncle Wade's in that dark den, having just finished an unhealthy meal of hotdogs, store-bought cole slaw and potato chips (and orange soda) then watching things like THIS. It brings it all rushing back.

I mainly remember it from early Sunday mornings at home, when there were no cartoons, just THIS. and that abhorrent "Davey and Goliath."

We watched a bunch of clips last night after watching a very good -- and very intense movie about the Holocaust. Made a decent mental palate cleanser.

I kept expecting a midget to pop out from under the big gold dress and do a solo, for some reason.
