[Kay is lying face-down in the snow. The snow is soaked with his blood. He doesn't move, aside from a slight twitching.]

H-hello?

[He barely manages to talk. He gets up on his hands and knees, shaking, and the collapses again.]

(ooc; Continued from here. action post for whoever finds him. Voice post for everybody else.)

Peony for healing and Geranium for comfort, they thread nicely together in a small bundle of four and three respectively, tied with three ribbons--one of peridot green, one of sky blue, and one of seashell pink. These are what Luna Lovegood brings with her to the nameless person spotted on the network earlier in the day. It seems to have been quite an unfortunate accident, or not-accident, but she isn't here to pry. He said his friends would help him, but it is nice to know that sometimes strangers care too.

"Hello," she says when she pushes the door open with near silence, peering in. Her voice is soft as usual, so if he is asleep she will simply leave the flowers and exit, but if he is awake, quiet voices carry well enough to be heard.

Wand previously rolling between her hands in an absentminded action, she tucked it behind her ear again while listening.

"I can't imagine," she admitted, but that was probably obvious. Blinking at the unblinking one, she wondered if there was anything that could be done for him when his eyes did grow back. "And the shards can't be removed," she guessed, for who would choose to have those stuck as they apparently were if they could have the chance to opt out? Some people, she could guess at, but their numbers were few and she would not be amongst them.

"No. I've tried everything. Some of the most powerful sorcerers in my world have tried and failed." he said, "I bet the Snow Queen herself could not remove them at this point."

Her brow arched at the mention of the Snow Queen herself, but Luna knew better than most than to question the reality of any given world, even her own. To say she is sorry again would be redundant and repetition would not serve a purpose here either, so she waited a while, no words coming to her with terrible immediacy.

"Do you suppose you will be here for a few days?" she asked, leaning down to adjust the laces on her shoes, which she did wear today because she knew the hospital might not let her in without proper footwear, enchanted or not.

of course most people thought he was fictional anyways, so Kay wouldn't have been offended. He rather liked being known, in all honesty.

"I might be. I heal faster than regular humans do, so I might be out fairly fast. I know my eyes will heal quickly, it just depends on my other injuries." he said.

"I will try to visit you again," she decided, half to herself, half to Kay, peering around the room as if for some small something that made it different from a standard hospital room. Alas. Well, in time maybe hospitals and such could also become hospitable, but for now it was good enough that there was one here for incidents like this at all.

Moving to the door, she paused, hand on the knob.

"Do you like pudding, Kay?"

Because she asked everyone, although she rather liked to think most people enjoyed pudding.

"Thank you. I'd like it if you came to see me again and...pudding?" He had to think on that for a second. It was a rather unexpected question.

"...yes. Yes, I like pudding."
