Why toga and barbaric barefoot sometimes is necessarily doesn't sound like something for today’s modern life but it is. Believe me I know from years of experience.

So, cloth is something we in this society use for covering our body from the sight of others and from the merciless weather. Not only does it cover up flaws it also tells the people ( Read more... )

The internet might be for porn, but LJ is for porn *and* ranting. ;)

I agree, I don't want sore feet either hence I refuse to force myself into narrow shoes.

I totally agree. As a 5'2" woman, 32G bra size, wide feet, wide ankles, slightly bigger stomach than I'd like but relatively narrow hips I find it so hard to buy clothes and shoes. I wear clothes until they are rags (well till they go bobbly and lose their shape) and shoes with holes in because I hate shopping. It depresses me. I am not enormous, in fact I have a figure those fat tent women would love so why can't I get clothes? Because I am a woman and not a skinny pre pubescent girl! I've had this problem for years and years because I am short. As an 11 year old my waist was too skinny and I had to wear an age 9-10 skirt in my first year of High School even though I wanted to wear trousers.

The Internet helps me with bras, have you tried online or catalogue shopping for shoes?

Jupp, but I'm too worried that my bank account will be robed (not very likely but I'm paranoid about it). I like to really really look at the things I buy. You know, the shoes I had to the upper secondary school ball was bought in London. I had to go to London to find shoes! What's wrong with this world. I love clothes but don't like what the store offers me, too bad quality and too expensive. People who changes wardrobe every season never ceases to amaze me. When are you supposed to wear all those things?
I don't envy you, as a 11 year old all I wanted was some nice shoes for the end of the school year. Didn't get any.

You're a super woman! One that many wishes to be. I got long long legs and small breast that doesn't really fill out a sweater, that's why you got push-up bra's! We gotta change the fashion industry! Can't be that hard right? ;-)

Yeah my friend Amanda is a bit like that changing her clothes all the time but she has a perfect figure for clothes and loves shopping.

I wouldn't say I'm a super woman just ordinary with big boobs and long legs are good! I had the idea once to open a shop that sells clothes based on shape rather than size but I'm not sure how that would work in reality. Bravissimo a lingerie company for D+ cup women already do special clothes for big boobed women but they are pretty expensive. Worth it if the clothes last a long time though.
