Bought, played and maxed 2 characters in WoW. (Beth and Akumu. Akumu named changed to Tharzax to get rid of that fucking ú). This is the situation as it stands.

Old school, but I'm sure you could probably get an invite to BtL if a mature guild is what you're looking for. No leetspeak/idiots/morons invited, and is made-up of mostly the core BtL members from FFXI.

We've been raiding since just about the end of burning crusade and plan to start again at the turn of the new year, though we allow people to join as social members too if raiding isn't their thing.

I've noticed the same too, and I think it's because WotLK dungeons were so much easier then Burning Crusade ones, that it made people both lazy and worse then usual at utilizing proper crowd control. 25 man Lady Deathwhisper and Heroic Lich King were really the ONLY encounters in the whole expansion that were actually engaging / challenging for me, respectively, as a tank, so I imagine that DPS likely fell 'into the rut', so to speak

Appreciated, guys. I've stalled out on leveling for awhile. I've still to do Vash'jir on Tharzax and Hyjal on Bethwyn. Both of them have the achievements for all quests done in every zone they've leveled in. Akumu is 515 Jewelcrafting and 504 enchanting before things just because REALLY expensive, given the current market, to gain a point. We'll see what happens. Guild or no. Game or no. I just feel swarmed over by stupidity and it's...frustrating.

It is as you said though.. this time around, it isn't just your luck.. almost everyone's having to deal with the changes, good players and bad alike. To be honest, even though it's difficult now, I think that this'll be good for the game in a long run, as accessable and easy are two very different things, ya know?
