Yep, that's me. At one point I was chopping wood while wearing my gaiters and antique safety glasses, and taking much pleasure in pushing an antique wheelbarrow. It was then I realized how much of a nerd I am.

What did you use to draw that? Blue colored pencil? it's a very cool effect. I especially like the tufts of hair on the ears and neck.

'Tis a ball point pen. They're tough to draw with but they're my favorite:

i love ballpoint! they can be so subtle or so intense depending on how you wield them.

is the brown one a ballpoint drawing as well? where on earth did you acquire a brown ballpoint? i adore the curly feathers, the belly indentation and the feet. : )

It's black ball point pen. I gave it a bit of sepia in photoshop.

The shoe covery leg things are american gaiters from the second world war. I always ruin the antiques I purchase.

How do they work? Essentially they wrap around your legs and make you look awesome. You could probably find a pair of spats at a surplus store, copy the pattern, and extend it a bit.

It makes antiques sad when pieces of them get lost in the park.
