I feel like you uncovered secret creatures in that first shot... like they were hiding in daylight, but at night they come out to... do things. I'm not sure what. Maybe that's when they do their weekly run to the creaturely dry cleaners or something.

Thanks! That fluffy wheat photo was a surprise. I think the short focal length I used in taking the photo really helped make it look like it was glowing.
