There's this quote, about all the great minds we lose because of poverty/oppression/lack of opportunity...it's like "think about all the Einstein's...". Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd like to use it in a paper but I don't have enough of the words to make a Google search work for me.

oh dude!
I also wanted to ask you something about Wikipedia cuz of all your internet researching. I'm thinking of writing something to basically tell my school that not accepting wikipedia as a source (for basic stuff, like you'd get from any encyclopedia) is elitist. I'm pretty sure there's an actual argument for this, as in Wiki is mad peer reviewed and just 'cuz it's not "accredited" doesn't mean it's not valuable, accurate, etc. it's a source for the people. any input?

The end goal of such a position of course has to be that the thought of losing a person who -wouldn't- have grown up to make earth-shaking discoveries or art that took the world by storm would still be devastating to us,

we have to get out of this mode of valuing people's lives based on their contribution to what society thinks is worthwhile and into a mode of valuing lives first and foremost because they are people's lives
