ok I don't see many people here much anymore, but for those of us that are, here's a bit of an update from me on the new movie that came out today :) Please read under the cut for some Neville/Lunaness {possible spoiler} ( here )

In the movie, I didn't really notice any Neville/Luna moments until the Dept. of Mystery scene. I saw a lot more Harry/Luna moments.

I fully expect Neville and Luna to get together during the last book. She just set up their relationship so perfectly, it would be a shame not to go there!

In the future, if you want to start a discussion, could you please ask me first? I'm just a tad anal and like to make sure everything gets tagged and everything.

I know things are slow, which is a shame. Hopefully everyone is just too busy trying to finish all their fics before the canon changes.

Then again, I expect the place to be jumping when after the book comes out and they DO get together. :D

ok! :) I'll make sure it gets tagged. And you're right, there were lots of Luna/Harry moments :/ Which were a bit creepy. To me anyway. But I loved how at the beginning when they all got on the buggy to head for the school, Luna said something and directed it at Neville and he acted a little scared! He was hugging his plant or something. ... The only problem is that Luna/Evanna is a bit young. :/

That was adorable when he did that. I was really happy with how Neville was portrayed in the movie. Though I really wanted his big hero moment in the Department of Mysteries, when it's only him and Harry left standing.

I missed that too. But I guess the way it was done was pretty much as much as they could fit in. :/

Oh, good! So I wasn't the only one to notice those moments! SQUEE! Yes, I really think they'll hook up in DH too! I hope we're right!!!

Definitely. I completely wasn't expecting ANY N/L moments so I think I got a bit overly excited. ;) But it's definitely one of the reasons why I want to see the film again ;D

^Ditto! I am so disappointed that they didn't let Neville shine in the DoM...after all he's supposed to be the last one standing with Harry...I was happy with all the screen time Neville got but I personally think they could have done a LOT more with him!

I also wanted it to show him with his Gran visiting his parents in St. Mungo's...bahhh, oh well...

Oh, I also wanted to see more Neville/Bellatrix action...

slytherin_face, do you know what scene your icon was supposed to have been in the movie? Obviously they cut it...but I was looking forward to seeing that scene in the movie...or maybe I just missed it?

Anyone? lol...

Don't worry! I believe his time with Bellatrix is still to come! They'll showcase it when it happens. ((7th film obviously I suppose)) But it'll definitely be a grand moment!!!
