Oh wow, this really does win in so many ways. I really hoped you'd write more Trevor, and this managed to be toadally laugh out loud funny, and yet rather touching at the end, too. And you neatly answered the 'and where were all the Inferi, eh, Jo?' question.

I really loved this line:

Ah, mi amor, you set my blood on fire! he cried moments later, clinging to her shell while an explosion of fire rocketed them across the tank.

Seriously, that's the best smut I've read in a very long time ;).

Simply - toadally, if you will - awesome.

*grin* I suspect the PETMA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Magical Animals) will be knocking on my door any moment, but if you can't laugh at inappropriately passionate animals, what can you laugh at?

Jo left a lot of holes in DH, didn't she? And the answers she did provide weren't really the ones we wanted to hear anyway, lol.

Glad you got a chuckle out of this. Laughter is supposed to be good medicine - I hope it works on your shoulder. ;)

Unfortunately, I don't think hurting someone with laughter is covered under my homeowners insurance, so I hope you aren't injured too badly. ;)

(I'd better get to leaving a comment, considering that someone I directed over here has already beaten me to it, haha.)

I adored this! I think I lost it with the smoking fire slug and didn't stop laughing thereafter. The moment when Nev is flattered and Luna's response, while not as obvious as many other lines, amuses me to no end, and on a non-hilarity note, Luna telling Neville that she believed in him more than she believed in Blibbering Humdingers was beautiful and perfectly Luna. I also vote this the most brilliant take on what happened to the Inferi ever. (Even though I have not read any other takes on it. I can't see this one being surpassed.)
