Alas, I haven't even read the books. And watching television? My wife and I have been trying to catch up with Mad Men... we're still half way through last year. That's about the only thing we watch. :-p

The funny thing about this is that I just sent a link to someone who was trying to convince me that no, I was wrong, NOBODY seriously considered Harry/Ginny before HBP, that there wasn't any evidence, and anyway, Harry only liked Ginny because she was pretty. It was a real flashback conversation, I have to tell you, and I was annoyed at how annoyed it got me.

Rather than dump, I simply sent him a link to your wonderful essay, and that was the last that I heard about it. :-)
