Oh, you didn’t think I believed it, did you?! Eeek! I’m crazy for Snopes and have asked her more than once to check these things out. At least she stopped sending me the political screeds, but I still get these, and sometimes some cyber angels and roses. Sheesh.

I guess you also thought I was sincere when I wrote about her making me bang my head against the wall. (And actually, I kinda' am!) Plus I always forget these - :)
I am much more charmingly clever in real life than on the page. Sigh.
Your story made me cryje_reviensDecember 30 2003, 12:56:55 UTC
My favorite uncle died last year. He was relatively young (52). Dropped dead at a client's. His funeral was jam packed. We played Eric Clapton and Little Feet in the funeral home. I miss him so much

What a wonderful story. And you know, that is a good reminder on how to act. If this were going to be the last thing you ever do, would you want to do it? (Some people might use that as an excuse to act up, but not me. And not out of any concern for hellfire - I just hate the thought of leaving on a bad note.)
I remember you talking about your uncle before, when we were talking about the address book thing. It’s nice that his memory is such a blessing to you.
I'm with you on the sister thing...there are four of us, and although on a rare occasion we act alike, we are mostly ridiculously "behaviorally incompatible".
Actually, my sisters and I have a lot in common. We have our differences, but if they weren’t related, I’d be happy to make them friends. It’s just that I can’t believe we came from my mom (bless her, but she’s got me grinding my teeth this week.)

I just adore Blood on the Tracks :)
Flowers on the hillside, bloomin' crazy, Crickets talkin' back and forth in rhyme, Blue river runnin' slow and lazy, I could stay with you forever And never realize the time.
Situations have ended sad, Relationships have all been bad. Mine've been like Verlaine's and Rimbaud. But there's no way I can compare All those scenes to this affair, Yer gonna make me lonesome when you go.

Love, love, love that song. When Neil and I were first dating and he decided to move to PA, it used to make me bawl every time. I was listening to it at lunch and almost did again, remembering those sad, lovesick days.

In particular, the HIV needles in gas pumps email is false.
Just a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood Spiderman. OK, I'm not Spiderman, but you get the idea. :-)
