It had taken two tries to return with the flowers he needed.  He carefully opened the glass jar he had taken to put the blossoms in and removed the delicate and beautiful buds. As quickly as he dared he ground the pedals into a fine paste before boiling it in water.  Unfortunately after that all Clark could do is wait for it to cool

Okay, you are forgiven and, like it is with Clark & Bruce, all is well with the world.
Happy Endings are very special and this one was especially nice. I loved watching Clark care for Bruce and not leave his side for days. And what was the first thing Bruce did on awakening, Kiss da boy. *Sigh* I liked this a lot
