Emily was glad to be back in school! She loved the castle. It was such a home to her, now, and it was so easy to wander the halls and just get lost in the possibilities.
At the moment, of course, she was getting lost in the possibilities for dinner instead. The Hogwarts feast was, as always, an amazing spread. Almost too much, really, because Emily's eyes just took it all in and didn't know where to start.
Actually, she decided after a second, she did have a good idea of where to start -- with finding her sister! Normally she wouldn't go to eat with Annie on the first night back in the castle, but she was excited for her sister being made Prefect, and she wanted to know how everything had gone on the train ride.
So she stood and made her way over to the Gryffindor table, having to scan for a minute before she finally spotted Annie. With a bright smile she made her way over to the other girl, glad that there appeared to be room next to her.
"Hey!" she greeted the other girl as she slid into the empty spot on the bench.
