man, i am really enjoying my italian poetry translation class. but damn, some of the poems are dark and depressing. they are very beautiful, but not always the most uplifting. and i find myself having to get really engrossed in them to be able to fully understand their meanings. and i still have trouble with some of the phrases. perhaps i will post ( Read more... )
