HELP w/ Etsy pics please?

just opened a shop at ETSY. But...not matter what i size my pics to be in photo shop, when i pull them from my comp to list them on etsy, they automatically blow them up to a standard size ( i guess for the shop page) which causes the image to not be as sharp (basically look like shit). how do some of you resize those phots to be smaller in the box ( Read more... )

Maybe change the canvas size in photoshop etc so you have whitespace all around the image but the image you upload is set to their preferred dimensions including the whitespace? Does that make sense? I don't use Etsy myself so I am guessing here Jo!

Warmest wishes.

yes I'd do exactly what Steven said! If your images are smaller than their standard size, then just copy/paste your image the size you want over a white page that fits their standard so that way it won't be enlarged and full of ugly pixels lol XD ! Or then what I do is, I upload LARGER scan of my images and they resize it smaller automatically, so the images still looks great and I don't need to bother sticking them on a white canvas, etc XD ! I must admit that the automatic sizing is pretty much the ONLY thing I dislike about Etsy lol, as for the rest, it absolutely ROCKS !!! ^.^
