Gai mentioned a few people were cocooned/clone-replaced this past week. Everyone's returned by now? Or do you still have a semi-useful brother, Derrick?
Do we need to go wait for Fred at the Hatchery cocoons, again, or is she coming back from the clone ones?Shame the clones were more interested in cleaning than in finding more ...entertaining ( Read more... )

[Shaky, but recognizable writing- someone's been drinking.]

I did NOT need that mental image.

Cleaning, apparently. And getting an unexpected bit of R&R in a cocoon, sure.

Otherwise, I preferred my idea.

It was apparent that you preferred your idea. Else you would not have posted with it.

I was thinking more along the lines of them being disposable, and thus usable for things one would not want to venture into themself, but the opportunity is lost now. If it even existed. They were not inclined to converse.

That would be useful, yeah, if we could trust them to be put in those kinds of situations, to gain information and report back, or to at least be dummies to take a hit.

Unfortunately, they were part of the Tree, not one of us. I could imagine abusing tree-clones that way would still get the real version killed.
