the things i post to my site have illicited a few responses, usually appreciated comments from local friends and a handful of internet neighbors. a couple of times i have been emailed by a perfect stranger who noticed a similar interest. but until today, i have never been told that a post was offensive. until this oneand perhaps it is.

I emailed you privately to explain that was offensive and you know damn well why. MOVE ON last May was a disaster why bring this May down to THAT LEVEL!

I completely agree with you. Didn't find it offensive at all. Of course, as individuals, we each have "buttons" according to our own presonal experiences. Perhaps you touched on a sensitive issue with someone.

You're right. Sometimes simple words and thoughts will not convey meaning and feeling.

When he decides to email me and ask me I will explain why depite the fact he used somthing trivial to disuade hearing of war..The list just went downhill from there.

My response wasn't related to you...I'm certainly not trying to get in the middle of anyone's differences or issues. In fact, I had responded not having even read your comment beforehand. It was just a reply regarding his post since I actually, personally, saw where he was coming from and I happened to read the post in question when I ran across his LJ post.

It's not you. I have a personal distaste for that post and really he should have not brought it here but he did.. No worries.
