[OOC] State of the Union - Characters
About time I did another one!
Aerrow
IC
He's ...decent. He's a bit antsy over his greatest enemy being in camp, but nothing's happened so far so the most he can do is be on the lookout and warning people. He's thrilled over the fact that Piper's here and he kinda wants to show her around camp and tell her what he likes about it because he's been here for so long, he wants to share that experience with her. Then there's the thing with Shuri. Shuri compliments Aerrow a lot and lately, Aerrow hasn't been denying them as much as he used to in the beginning. He's still not 100% comfortable with it, but he's letting it pass because he figures that's how Shuri is and a tiny part of him is going, "maybe that's not so bad...."

GET HIM OUT MORE. Have him do stuff! He's a pro-active character, I'm just being lazy. But he's also been here a while and I often wonder how that affects the voice he has in canon which means I'm due for a recap anyway.
Shawn Spencer

Shawn is happy! And yet unhappy! Jules is here! That's wonderful! Gus is not here! THIS IS BAD. Shawn's still unhappy over people leaving him behind in camp, he's getting listless with camp's eccentricities and really, he just wants something to do. But everything in camp feels like a dead end and it frustrates him to no end. Right now, he just wants Gus to show up.

MY CHARACTERS AND THEIR ABANDONMENT ISSUES. Shawn takes a lot out of me to play. But I love him! But he also needs a Gus and if I don't get one soon, I worry for how long I can keep him. Anyway, new canon is revitalizing me and I'm planning some activities for him, but if Shawn mentally isn't in a good place there's very little I can do.

Hilariously, if I had done this a few weeks back, I would have told you, "bawww oz need alice he's fucked in the head". BUT NOW THAT I HAVE ALICE, just watch this space until I play it out.

Speed Racer

Wants to do something more but he doesn't know how to and he misses racing and he wonders how Pops and Mom are doing without him and he hopes they're okay of course they should be fine this is Speed Racer after all and he's gonna keep on going!

Now that I've read the manga, I feel more confident about my characterization with Speed Racer. Because anyone will tell you from watching the cartoon that Speed Racer is not exactly the most consistent of canons. Lulz. But the manga clinched some of the ways I play him, so in that respect, I'm happy! He's still and will always be my cracky backburner.
Now if I can find the manga online so I can make pretty icons.
Haruka

Haruka has just been confronted by his past and mostly Fuji, which leads to a big deal in the way he will talk/deal with Kantarou. Haruka is conflicted. He wants to learn his past but the betrayal and what the mononoke said makes him resist it. Also, the weight of that betrayal and whether he'd be betrayed again makes him unsure of how he feels about Kantarou at the moment. Because he does trust Kantarou, almost instinctively, but there's always that nagging doubt that it'll stab him in the back.

I am zeeeeeeeen with the tsuntengu. He's the kind of character I play whenever I feel like it and he's always fun for almost any occasion. My only plan right now is to plan stuff with Kantarou-mun and focus more on that relationship at the moment to see how it'll play out.
Virgil Hawkins

Very blah. Richie left again so Virgil's just crossing his fingers, hoping he'll show up again. And Hotstreak is here, so Virgil keeps tabs on him just in case. Generally, camp hasn't thrown anything at him that made him particularly angry or upset. He can take things as they come.

MUST PLAY HIM MORE. I have stuff planned! Flirt with Ro, handcuff him to Hotstreak etc etc. I just love playing a geek on the internet okay. TOPPING SOMEONE INTO APPING RICHIE IS A MUST TOO since it's confirmed he's canonly gay.
Dean Winchester

Hahahahaha...ha. Dean is not happy. He's in a place full of supernatural creatures, many of which he doesn't know how to kill. And a good deal of them are already exerting holds over him, by using Sam and that just makes Dean even more cranky because Dean needs to look out for Sam and in a place where anything and anyone can kill them, it's making Dean very hard to deal. And the fact that he's stuck here means he has to interact with people which means he's got people he wants to look out for, other than Sam. And these people are going into comas, getting killed and Dean can't do anything about it. It's driving him insane and making him feel even more worthless. He really doesn't know what to do but like hell anyone else is finding out that he feels so completely over in on his head right now.

LOEV DEAN. He's been my primary for the last couple of months and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. WHOOPS.

Is getting used to the fact he's not universally hated/despised/loathed/ignored etc. He's also coming into terms of learning about humanity and what being a human is like and what makes a robot different. He's got his own set of principles, things which he believes in, but at the same time, he's developing/integrating what he learns in camp as well.

I love playing a giant puppy/emobot on the internet. His naivete to things is a refreshing thing to illustrate on and I'm having a blast with his relationships.
