You write some lovely stuff and one thing I really admire is that you seem equally at home with both Nine and Ten. They both absolutely leap to life on the page. No fluff, you go straight for the romantic jugular, and it's wonderful.

Thanks for the feedback, this one was difficult for me to write. I found out it's quite one thing to have a plot bunny hit you, and write something and then you can please yourself, and if other people like it it's a bonus. It was quite another thing, to be given things to include and to have it be a sort of gift to someone else, and have the pressure of expections on you. My delete key got a big workout!

Glad you enjoyed it.

No problem, I knew I was putting everyone in a time crunch. Schoolwork should always come first (That's my 'mom voice', BTW) I'm just glad you're not upset with me for posting. I did wait until the last minute, just in case anyone else had suggestions, but I'd gotten some feedback from some others, and I felt the fic was in pretty good shape. I think I've learned a alot about punctuation/dialogue in the past 24 hrs.

Yeah I guess schoolwork should, as much as I hate to say that.

I thought you did a great job with the prompts, and this is a fascinating story - one I could definitely see as an episode, even if they'd never use the romance and smut ;)

I really liked the way you showed the art gallery, in the beginning, as so alien. Clever, and clearly disturbing for Rose. And you wrote Rose so well, too - quick-thinking, doing her best to help the Doctor, as she would do, and then later her reaction to being fifty years older: not weeping and falling apart, but being realistic while clearly upset. This is so her too:
“ - and I’m not going to be some kind of energy sucking creature, feeding off you, Doctor!” Rose interrupted. “I’m useless here, Doctor. I know I can’t stay; you don’t have to say it. Take me home, I’ll pack my things.”Yes, we know he'd have transferred as much of his life energy to her as he possibly could, to keep her alive at least, but she wouldn't want him to do that. That would turn her into Galea ( ... )

Wendymr and dark-aegis had signups around the end of Aug/early Sept.
Fics were due Oct 31st. I think they had 63 people sign up, so there's alot of great fic out there. The list of the fics is at

Thank you for the lovely fic. I didn't mean to induce any panic with my prompt, it's not as if I have a degree in art history by any means. But thanks for trying to omit the fluff; it's hard to change your writing style when it's 'required' and not your own plot bunny.

Glad you liked it. At first, I actually tried a Rose/Doctor go to Earth's past type of thing, and did all sorts of research about artists/famous works, but it was really, really bad. Like some art history term paper, as I tried to set the scene. So, I know a little fluff crept in there at the end, but I guess I'm a sucker for a happy ending.
