the no trespassing signs the Doctor had posted I liked that particular phrase. Because that was exactly what the Doctor was doing, and I don't think I've heard that phrase to discribe it before, and yet it does so very well!
There were a couple of places that needed speech marks in here. It made reading a little difficult. but the rest is pretty good.
Thanks for the comments - I need to find some beta readers if I continue to write. But I was wishy-washy about doing this at all, and then I needed to post if I was going to do it all - so I just went with it. Thanks for taking the time to let me know how you felt about it - and for reading !
I know the feeling. You know if you don't post it now, it won't get posted. Good luck finding a beta. If you post a note in one of the comms, you should be able to find one.
Hi! I'm getting ready to add this link to the collection post..could you put the Fic Contest Header on it?
Use the following format:
Doctor Who Research Project Fanfic Contest Author: Title: Challenge Element: Rating: A/N: (if desired)
(To modify a post - go to your info page, at the top menu bar, hit "manage" then "entries" put in "most recent" and it will bring up the page where you can edit. Then just save and it will the modified entry will appear. If you know this, I apologize. I know you had questions re lj-cuts so I figured you were new to the whole lj-gig)
Never used livejournal at all until I found you guys. Started looking for fanfic after Dalek aired here in the US - been gorging myself on the great fanfic here ever since.
Enjoyed this very much! There were a few places that needed quotes, but that's my only complaint, other than that it was wonderful! I was the same way, joined LJ after I discovered Time and Chips and just had to feed my Doctor Who obsession.
Sorry didn't reply for awhile, I don't log into my LJ very often - mainly have the account to post comments, and for a time to post fic to.
Don't really write anymore; I got frustrated with what I wanted to produce verus what I was able to produce.
But, your comment made me smile because I really enjoy reading your work. In fact, your "Strange Majiks (sp?)" is one of the few WIPS I've been following as they are written - usually I just cut and paste WIPS into a fic to read when complete, I hate to read a story that get left unfinished, and get impatient with cliffhangers --- but I couldn't resist yours.
