My dad got his biopsy results back today. He has cancer. Just a tiny bit, he says, but still. On Wednesday he'll be going to his doctor to figure out the treatment plan. Everything should be okay - he says he probably won't even miss work for any of this ( Read more... )

Jessica, I'm so sorry. That's really scary. If there is anything I can do, let me know. I'm not trying to pry, but is it skin cancer? I only ask because I know several people, (Steve's dad, my old theater history professor), who have had skin cancer and healed just fine. It's highly treatable. The "C" word is never easy to stomach-- but it's going to be okay.
