I so so so love your taste. Took Wilco, Florence, and Black Keys. ALSO A++ taste on The Decemberists, girl, that album is the fucking bomb, and Mariner's Revenge always makes me happy with how disturbing that shit is. I might take more music later, but for now I'm gonna roll around in what I have. ♥ Happy New Year, you!

OMFG by the time that song gets to its end i am like howling lyrics that do not even exist, it makes me so crazy. i have been trying to figure out what it even is? polka? some sort of hebrew bar mitzvah type deal? i don't know but it FEELS GOOD INSIDE

i have a few more albums to put up but my cd drive is no longer functioning so i might have to wait until i get an external. i have to say i really really really love m83. it is not at ALL what i gravitate toward but i really just respect it so much that i love to listen to it too. if that makes sense.

happy new year, meg!

that's how SO MANY decemberists songs make me feel. i went to a concert a couple years ago, before they released the hazards of love, and listening to the culling of the fold for the first time made me fucking crazy with glee. he was climbing up this rope ladder on the side of the stage and hanging off and singing so fucking beautifully i just wanted to die. i will never forget what an awesome experience that was, even though my sister was being a spoiled little brat through the whole thing.

okay not only is that song fucking amazing it makes me want to write fic based off it. uuuugh I LOVE. so downloading m83 next :D

i hope you get the CD drive thing figured out soon because WE ALL NEED MORE GOOD MUSIC. you're the coolest.

Oh goodness, THANK YOU for this musical bounty! Most of these are albums that I dawdled on purchasing and so this post feels like Christmas all over again. :)

I hope you're having a lovely New Year thus far.

I've been really out of the loop with music this year--point of fact, I only heard about the Tegan & Sara Con demos album when you mentioned it in this post. I kind of wish I still worked at my local indie book/music store, because I was much more up to date with the new stuff.

I'm currently loving the Black Keys album, so thank you again!
