Anybody who doesn't like to recieve letters...*shakes head* They have problems. I heard a girl talking in the store the other day about how she "hated getting snail mail! Why don't they just send it all by email? I takes so much longer to read it when it's on paper!" I was thoroughly appalled. How could she even think that way? What is this world ( Read more... )

I like receiving snail mail. But I almost never get snail mail letters, and hardly any e-mail ones either.

I play piano and try to sing, I've had people tell me I have a beautiful voice, but I always feel quite silly singing to a piano at three in the morning. I do need to get over that so I can practice my singing. (I wish to be a musician that plays music like that of Enya, Loreena Mckennitt, David Arkenstone, etc.)

They left you this morning to go on a picnic? Just leave you with homework. Eh? I'm most sorry.

I very rarely recieve any kind of mail, either...and it isn't as exciting to recieve junk mail as I once thought it was.

I don't know of Loreena Mckennitt or David Arkenstone, but I have several Enya cds and listen to them quite frequentely. I'm one of those individuals who usually doesn't like to listen to one thing over and over and over, but ever-so-often I get stuck and listen to the same cd for ages. Enya is one of those =D

Yes! And it was even an all-day-picnic! *frowns* Ah well... =)

Yeah I know that feeling, although it is still usually somewhat exciting to receive my numerous tea catalogs.

Yeah, I'm like that with music too.

But I'm assuming you don't look on your 'tea catalogues' as junk mail. I would much prefer to get actual letters, but I don't look on my watercolor magazines and tea catalogues as junk mail. They just aren't quite as exciting... =)

That girl doesn't know what she's missing out on with getting snail mail! I'd even send you a letter, if I had your address. =D I `spose I would get over there on a bike faster than a letter would be finished. =) I'll have to do that sometime. =)

I would send you one, as well.....but it would probably be healthier for me to ride my bike over to see you, or at least hand deliver a letter...:)

Recieving a big plump envelope in the mail with my name scrawled on it in the familiar handwriting of a beloved friend, is one of the best and most wonderful things in all the world.

(And yes, lovely catalogs are precious too ;))

Well, you will be receiving a slightly plump envelope with your name etched on the front in unfamiliar handwriting in a day or two! =)
