Is it just me? I'm not getting any LJ notifications anymore when someone responds to a post or comment I've made :-/ I checked my settings, and all the right things are ticked...
All is well, except I wish I could get Rich out of busybody mode. My grandson is almost 20 and does nothing but sit on his ass all day in front of the computer. I say this is my daughter's problem, he's sitting on his ass upstairs in her apartment where she pays rent, but it's a bug in Rich's ass and if something drives him crazy, he drives ME crazy. And Mal is incredibly hostile to Rich, so much it hurts *my* feelings. *sigh* Nobody said it would be easy, I guess.
The granddaughters went to a party tonight and they're going trick or treating tomorrow. Zaria is a Vampire. She wears a long black gown with a big stand up collar with what looks like spiderwebs. Ayanna is Dorothy, complete with a little basket with a dog. Toto is now a pug. LOL She's adorable, I need to post the pictures somewhere. My oldest granddaughter is 12. "I don't dress up," she says. I guess we all gotta grow up sometime. :)
Halloween really isn't, or at least wasn't, a thing in England, so it was so fun when first came back and our boys were 5 and 3. Yes, really, you can knock on doors and ask for candy, and people will just give it too you!! Good times :-D
I hope the rest of the family gets into a good groove for you -- you went through a lot to be together, so all of them can do a little to make it smoother for you. That's my opinion, for the little it's worth ;->
