The last three movies I've been to had babies brought to them. The movies? Battle LA, Horrible Bosses, and Star Trek. Young parents of America: I hate you and your screaming baby.
I could have sworn I replied to your comment yesterday -- oh LJ what *was* going on today? My paid account was working, but this one was not :-(
Anyway, I don't know what these people are thinking (obviously, they're not!). We spent those years having "date night" at home with pizza and a video. And I *still* prefer to watch films at home on the big screen in HD. Only awesome special effects will get me out to the theater to put up with the rude masses.
This. So much. Also, people shouldn't take their kids to Comic-Con. It's just not fun for them. Maybe one day for a few hours, but not an entire weekend.
