:) Hi!

Now I want to see that movie! It sounds really good, and if it's a good movie, subtitles can be dealt with :)

Blah @ the washing machine. Hopefully you can get a new one soon. I feel your inconvenience!

Hmm.. speaking of straw bonnets, would you be interested in a Linda Gray straw? I bought a couple several years ago, but there's no way I'm going to need two :) Email me if you'd be interested. Glenna Jo has pics of Linda Gray straws on her site if you don't know what I'm talking about... Anyway, if you're interested, I love to sell one :)

We just got a washer today! yay! It just needs to be assembled first.

I'll think about the straw bonnets...how much are you selling them for and what colors are they? Are they un-trimmed? Umm...I suppose you could just e-mail me! hehehe. I might be interested. ;-)

Oh,the movie "Sophie Scholl" looks really good. What is it rated? Are their any bad parts in it? I am very interested in seeing it even though it looks sad.:(

I remember reading about the group 'The White Rose' when we were at the Holocaust Museum and how it impressed me that young people like that believed in something so strongly to lose their lives for it.

Hm...not sure what the rating is. But there aren't any bad parts, that I can be sure. I don't even think there's any language. The worst part is when they get executed at the end, but they don't show anything.

Which pattern are you using for the 1860s jacket? Is it a "reproduction" pattern? I really wish I had one of those - maybe I could get my aunt to knit one for me (I can only knit scarves so far!). You'll have to post pictures when you're finished, I can't wait to see it! ;)

I'm using the exact pattern from Godey's 1861. It's called "The Knitted Spenser." I think I'll probably post the directions on here once I finish the jacket just in case anyone is interested. I ended up typing them out so it would be easier for me to follow along. I just hope it turns out. aghhh. I'm so nervous it won't. But either way, I'll show pictures when it is complete. I may end up having to work on it at the actual event! hah.
