Jason came home last night an asked where I would be willing to relocate to. He is super successful and found out he is in line for a promotion depending on how far he would go. Part of me is YES! I knew awhile ago jason was on his way up. The adventurous part of me is thinking this is the time. Kameron is young, I really have no ties to Buffalo,

* sigh* try it... If you hate it- at least you gave it a go. If you don't then- great.

Also be clear about the type of travel budget you will need as a result- like- maybe tell him you would love to go anywhere be wants- but it's also important for you- that Kam has the time to create a strong bond with your family- plan (at least) week long trips every 3 months in advance. Make it part of the negotiation. Also- if you add another baby to the household- you'll need support- if you can't have everyone near- then ask to hire for it... ?

Its hard to leave the support system you have behind. I think enchanted magic is correct in what she says. Make sure you tell Jason your concerns before hand and discuss what you'll do should you move further away from family and friends. I'm certain Kameron will know his family well ( you of all people will make sure of that!) It'll work out in the end my dear...

Just catching up on entries I haven't read in ages. Are you relocating? It is not so bad as you would think. As you know I left my entire family five years ago. At first it was really hard, but you get used to it and you make your own 'friend family' and your own support system......and besides phones etc still work. Let me know what happens and where you might relocate (and if it is anywhere south of the mason dixon line you must let me know!)
