I know last year must have been much of the same but I swear I do not recall there being such a relentless onslaught of the white stuff. I had to be towed or pushed or pulled out of ditches no less than 8 times in the 3 weeks prior to Christmas. Oh, GRACE! I know it's just awful!! I don't care where you are from, there is no way to prepare for such a mess.

I don't think last winter was quite this bad, in terms of total snowfall or single storm snowfalls. We did get rather a lot of snow thus far and we've started getting it rather early--I don't remember when we last got buried in snow on Thanksgiving day, for example. That thunderstorm between Christmas/New Years was rather apocalyptic, wasn't it?

Yet here again tonight we are under ANOTHER Winter storm advisory...and of course since it is the one day of the work week I am NOT due in court I scheduled home visits (clients that are housebound) which requires me to drive the heck all over Allegan, Van Buren and Kent counties all day...Grr!!!! Anyway, stay warm, drive safe and make sure your pantry is full...at least that is my motto!

I meant that all the driving is scheduled for tomorrow! Double Grr! Plus we did not get to see the lovely full moon over the weekend. Despite the entire sky being clouded over, the yard was lit up like daylight but no sight of the moon for us, alas.
