Life is being really tough right now. I'm having intense issues with Paolo that he doesn't even truly recognize. I've told him but he doesn't really quite grasp it. He started acting a little bit distant but I wasn't too concerned for a myriad of reasons. Anyways, he ended up telling me that, after I had been just saying I love you like normal

im so sorry you are having problems with him alex. boys tend to have a problem with the "l word." but its good he's being honest with you, right? i think you should point out to paolo that there is a difference between "i love you" and "i am in love with you." at this point he should be able to manage the first one.

i would also like to suggest that maybe he has commitment issues cuz of what happened last year?
